How to get a great deal on your boiler installation in London
When you need a new boiler it’s always a stressful time – especially in London where you might be expecting to see ‘London prices’ when you get a quote.
However, all is not lost because there are some great deals about. In this blog post we’re going to tell you what NOT to do when you need a new boiler installation in London.
1. Don’t say yes to the first quote you get
This may seem obvious, but if you have no hot water or central heating, you may be quite desperate, especially if it’s winter and you have a young family or older relatives with you.
It pays to chill out (pardon the pun) and use the internet to get plenty of quotes. These days it doesn’t take long and could save you a large chunk of of cash. At Macbrook Gas we’re becoming well known for our low quotes, which is why we do more than 100 boiler installations every month.
We often save our customers £1,000 and sometimes more when compared with other quotes they’ve received, and we can do the same for you. You can get a quote within 2 minutes by visiting our website and clicking the Find a Boiler tab and following the instructions.
2. Don’t buy without checking the reviews
I guess most of us do this these days anyway – we’ve been looking at eBay feedback for years haven’t we? But, as I mentioned in the paragraph before, when you’re in a hurry you may not do the things you’d normally do.
Some gas boiler installation companies have shocking reviews, and the chances are the service isn’t going to improve for you. Why not make an already trying time a bit easier by choosing a company that people are praising, not moaning about?
You can see all our 5-star reviews on this page.
“Brilliant Price! I’m so happy I chose Macbrook Gas, they came in £1000 cheaper than my local engineer and done an exceptional job thank you!!! Can’t recommend them enough!”
Mrs Barry, London SE18
3. Don’t succumb to pressure
This makes us mad at Macbrook Gas. Some of the ‘larger companies’ – so called market leaders – still try and charge very high prices, with tons of add-ons, and lots of pressure applied by the tele-sales teams.
I’ve just been reading about an example on the website www.lovemoney.com where a lady was shopping around for a boiler and British Gas wanted to charge her £3,770 to install a £1000 boiler. When she said no, she was offered a £150 discount, but only if she signed up there and then.
We can’t say this surprises us. Our most popular Worcester Bosch boiler installation is currently more than £1,200 less than the same installation with BG, just proving it pays to shop around.
